Practical use and modular assembly of the modular barbecue stove
Usage instructions for the barbecue: The firebox is loaded with dry twigs and charcoal. When starting the fire, avoid rapid temperature changes in the combustion chamber by using burners and petroleum products. Place the grill over the glowing embers, and after it heats up, arrange the prepared food. During cooking, it is not recommended to extinguish the fire (abundantly) with water, but only with sprinkling.
Usage instructions for the oven: Dry wood and twigs are placed in the center of the oven dome. Avoid rapid temperature changes in the combustion chamber by using burners and petroleum products. After the initial ignition, it is normal for the bricks in the dome to darken. The fire should be maintained until the bricks turn white. The heating process takes about 2.5-3 hours. Once the bricks have whitened, the oven is ready for baking, and the prepared tray can be placed inside. Finally, the dome's opening is closed with the metal lid and sealed around the edges with clay or a mixture of ash, flour, and water (mortar).
Approximate assembly time for 3-4 beginners: 4-5 hours on a flat surface
Required amount of adhesives for assembly: 25 kg Cement adhesive class C2 + Heat-resistant adhesive: 20 kg

Assembly instructions: A crucial condition for easy and correct assembly of your oven-barbecue is the base. It should be stable, well-aligned, and leveled. The elements are built up according to the numbering in the assembly instructions and bonded with cement adhesive class C2. It is recommended to bond the elements in and around the dome with heat-resistant adhesive. The parts must be thoroughly wetted with water before applying the adhesive to ensure proper bonding. Level each stage horizontally and vertically. The barbecue surface extends 15 cm forward from the base. The dome is placed at the beginning of the middle panel (the floor of the firebox). Finally, grout and clean the surface. After the adhesive has dried (12 to 24 hours depending on the season), your oven-barbecue is ready for use.
The heaviest part is the dome, weighing around 200 kg, and requires 4-5 people for moving, or a mobile crane with straps.

Recommendation for MANDATORY oven insulation: The better the oven is insulated, the more efficient the baking process, as the accumulated heat is retained longer. We recommend placing a cement roof on the oven dome and filling the space with quartz sand or marble flour (220 kg = 10 bags of 22 kg each). You can purchase such a roof from us.
Another option is to insulate the oven's dome with aluminum foil insulation (3.5-4 sq.m), a wire mesh, and finally, coat with chamotte – a fireproof mixture, a mix of heat-resistant and cement adhesive. Don’t worry if cracks appear with steam escaping from them. They are a result of expansion due to high temperatures and moisture that must escape somewhere. We are confident that you will be more than satisfied with the baking quality. The cracks will seal after the oven cools down and will not cause any damage to the reinforced dome.
